Zoom Interactive Class Etiquette

With Zoom Live Streamed Classes, first timers should download the Zoom App in advance. Test your Microphone and Camera with their test menu.

Before asking questions, make sure your microphone is NOT MUTED
Before asking questions raise your hand to signal you have a question.
In order for the teacher to observe your technique, the mat should be placed crosswise to the camera
Make sure that sunny windows or light sources are not directly behind you
If you are "casting" to a large TV to watch, make sure one device is muted.
Have Props handy for a Live class as they are announced at the beginning
If your video is choppy, try logging out and back in. If it is still bad, you may need to reboot your internet router.
Additional persons may observe, but please pay if participating
While we encourage questions, remember this is not a private lesson
Questions regarding Technique and Injury Prevention are encouraged

Reservations Policy

Reservations are NOT necessary for the Tuesday Evening Interactive Streaming Zoom classes. You must have a current package or have renewed it at least 2 hours before the start of the class so that we know to send you the link.

Cancellation Policy

Recurring auto billed membership may be cancelled prior to the 1st of the month. After the first, the paid value may be applied to the following month, or for illness by agreement of the management.

Refund Policy

Refunds are not available after the first 24 hours. Anyone caught sharing login and password will have their membership terminated with no refund.

General

Can I Use an iPad or Phone to see content?

Although You will be able to view content on an iPad or Phone, We strongly suggest that us log in the first time on a computer to more easily above around the Thinkific Library. Due to the screen size, some features are hidden or harder to find if you don’t know they are there on a tablet.

Can I try classes prior to purchasing?

Yes, You are free to try the sample of free classes on the Library page.

What type of packages are available?

Our packages are known as Bundles. We have 3 Bundles available. For those that want to check out the classes without a big commitment we have a Weekly Bundle. It gives you full access for 7 days. There is also a Monthly option for $35 that requires renewal each month. The BEST DEAL is the $30 subscription Bundle.

Do I have access to all the same classes in each Bundle?

Absolutely! No matter which package you decide is best for you, you will have access to all the same classes. The only difference is you will be accessing them differently.

How will I find my classes once I'm inside?

Each Bundle has classes sorted in easy to find sections: Full Classes, Gimme 20’s etc. The classes are also then broken down by Level. (Note: due to technical issues they are not sorted exactly alike, so if you change bundle type, you may notice a difference.)

Why Do I See Two Websites (Yoga4LongLife and Thinkific)?

Yoga4LongLife is the side that explains about our program, and is educational about Yoga and Pilates, Thinkific is like Netflix in that it hosts our 200+ videos and collects the payments.

How Do I Pay?

Once you register, you are now inside the Thinkific teaching portal. Thinkific will take you to a secure page for payment. You the option to pay through Paypal for renewable packages or Stripe for the autobilling package.

What are the options available?

Though all three options offer the same content, the options are a 7 day package, a 30 day package that needs renewal every 30 days, or the Auto Billing that renews every month. The third option is the BEST DEAL saving you $18 over the weekly rate.

What Internet Browsers Can I Use

Though you can use any browser to view the library of classes, Thinkific’s Zoom Live Class feature is still in Beta testing mode and does not work with Safari. We will continue using the normal Zoom for now.

Before & After Class

Download the FREE Zoom application

To participate in the weekly Interactive (Live) class, We use the Zoom app so that you can take the class while I observe you and can suggest corrections after class. Zoom should take you no more than 10 minutes to install, but we recommend playing with it for a bit to see how to use the various features

Test Your Microphone & Camera Settings And Check To Make Sure You Are Not Backlighted

Setting you camera crosswise to your mat will allow the teacher to see your form in the various postures and make corrections. Make sure there is not a brighly lit window or lamp behind you that makes it difficult to see you.

Once you join the Zoom, the room administrator will let you in even if you are late to class. Make sure to UNMUTE yourself except when you are coming in late.

How To Ask Questions In The Q & A After Class?

After the class, Terryl will make general comments and then open the floor to questions. Please raise your hand so that we are not speaking over each other. Zoom only allows one audio feed at a time.

Refund & Cancellations

Can I Cancel or Change My Plan

You may switch or cancel prior to the billing auto renew date.

What If I Choose the Wrong Plan

Unfortunately, Changes can only be made as you plan expires.

When does the Auto Billing Plan Renew

The Auto Renew feature will bill you 30 days after the previous renewal.

What happens If I Share My Account

Anyone caught sharing Logins will be blocked and no refund given.
